Bright or dark, Dark or bright

My planned macro of raindrops on spiders web didn't work out as even though we had rain overnight none on the web. I tried spraying water on and it wouldn't stick. By then I had to get on with other things so the web on its own is what you get. Then the decision tonight is- light or dark.
I feel I don't get enough bright light photos so I have gone with that with the dark as an extra.

Such a busy day today but a lot achieved and it has been warm and sunny. Can't complain at that.
