Two Poets

It is the wonderful time of year when everything is bursting into color and bloom. After the grays and whites of winter, it's almost shocking to the senses.

Also, it's turned summery-hot here (with temps in the mid-80s F), which is forcing the blooms along. I wanted to photograph these before they get too frizzled by the heat.

These are probably my favorite of all the spring blooms: the poet's daffodil. They are very small and delicate, with a beautiful circle of color in the middle.

On this morning, the light was just arriving. These two looked like they might be heading out for a brisk stroll, practically arm in arm.

They're poets, after all. So they must have poems to write. Let's let them get to it! :-)

The first line of this song is "It's poetry in motion." So let's use this one: Thomas Dolby, with She Blinded Me With Science.
