Seeing the wood for the trees

More saplings for the 'woodland' we are gradually growing. The theory is that we add quite a few year on year and by the time our (as yet notional) great grandchildren inherit this place there'll be enough survivors to make a thicket or so. During collecting and lifting these into the car two things happened: LH's back gave a painful tweak and then the rain started.

So instead of the intended day of tree thicketing we decided it was about time we 'did' some culture and visited an exhibition about Groovewear pottery at Orkney Museum. To be honest, I don't think we learnt much more than we'd known and felt any new information was distinctly lacking (perhaps there isn't any!) but I do like Tankerness House just as a lovely place to be in (uneven floors, lovely rooms, eclectic displays) so that was fine.

And I found myself a career ...!! (see extra)
