I was working at one of Stirling's popular tourist attractions today - Old Town Jail

While working away I couldn't help but notice and admire 19th century prisoner punishment - restricted to your cell with a black bag over your head.

Personally I quite like this punishment method and perhaps the next time Prime Ministers Questions is on TV I would love to see all the MP's in Westminster sit in the house of commons with black bags on their heads..sounds like a useful exercise to me.

Thankfully no harm was caused to humans in this photo as the poor statue was just about to be stored away for the winter as the tourist attraction is now closed for the season.
