An impromptu gathering of friends on the roof top balcony of a colleague's waterside apartment was a perfect way to spend a sunny Saturday afternoon. Eventually, we walked in to Arnavutkoy for pizza, and finished our evening at another neighbour-colleague-friend's flat playing 'Taboo'.  Easy how time flies when you're with friends and no particular agenda.

Meanwhile in other news: Today's blip is by way of advertising that #2 of Mono Monday in May continues with my chosen theme of "musical form" on 14th May, with the key word "IMPROMPTU".  Very much hoping that you'll join in, it will be mm225 so please tag accordingly and spread the word.  Already looking forward to the creativity !

Impromptu, a 19th-century piano composition intended to produce the illusion of spontaneous improvisation.... there is no particular form associated with the impromptu..... Among the best-known impromptus are those by Franz Schubert  and Frederic Chopin.
