Invited Athlete

The nerves are definitely setting in now. Super happy that I’ve been invited and classed as a ‘B’ elite runner, for the Brighton marathon (based on my performances in the past 12 months). I’ve never had a number without a number before. Feels a bit ridiculous as I’m really not an elite. Still it’s nice to be recognised for my performances at my age, and it’s also nice that I didn’t have to pay for this race, so I’m not complaining!

We left early this morning and met my parents in Canterbury at 10am, which was lovely and very productive with the exchange of birthday presents, pictures and cuddles.

Late afternoon we drove down to Brighton and went for an explore. I love it in this part of the World.
