The Lighted Life

By Giacomo

The Gaze

She gazed at him, lovingly and longingly, wanting just a bit of his attention. All she wished for was his momentary glance into her eyes or the fleeting attention of his muzzle. Or, in a perfect world, she thought of his presence in her lap.

But he would have none of that and instead he begged to go outside. Much to her dismay, Giacomo opened the door and the brief love affair ended suddenly, without respect to the emotions of the past.

I am flattered and honored and humbled about my crown this week. There are so many amazing images every day on blipfoto that I think this crown that I have been awarded should be on many other heads.
