Monomonday 227.........finale

My main image is the new statue of Aboriginal warrior Yagan who met his demise or finale at the hands of the settlers of the fledgling Swan River Colony in 1833. His head was removed and taken to England. It was finally returned to the indigenous community here in 2010, and buried with due ceremony in the Swan Valley, 177 years after his death.
You may read more about this statue here.

My extra is of a young musician I spotted who must have played his finale as there was absolutely nobody listening to him! (The rain and drizzle didn't help of course)

Many thanks to MerrilHope for hosting MM this month :-))
