Small Pearl Bordered Fritillary

Yesterday the birdwatching group went to Rhayader in Powys.  There were lots of birds about including red kites, pied flycatcher, redstart and willow warbler.  I was pleased to see Small Pearl Bordered Fritillaries, we have them in our area too but they're always good to see. 

The weather was hot and sunny so F and I stayed after the others had departed and called for fish and chips in the chippie in town before heading home.
