Demanding my attention

Not all the wildlife in Alaska are big, fierce or hairy. This little fledgling song sparrow down at Homer harbour made it quite clear he wanted my attention. Not until I took this snap did it move on.

It is up against some big boys when it comes to the local feathered celebrities in town as my extra shows, so I guess he has to make a bit of a song and dance to be noticed.

I did feel the little chap deserved top billing today for his pluck whereas the eagle did seem a little aloof.
