I set up the tripod outside so I could stand in the shade of the car port and wait for the birds’ bath time. The goldfinches came first, then a long tailed tit and several blue tits but it was this male Blackcap that surprised me most as they are not regular visitors to our garden.

When I came to review the shot I realised there’s a coal tit peeking up from below and we don’t usually have those either, just great tits. So a real 2 for 1. Side view in extras.
