Down in the Dip

The Ulster Museum

We went for a trip around the Ulster Museum in Belfast. It is full of weird and wonderful object and oddities. It was difficult to decide which photo to blip. I snapped a stuffed dodo, a wolfhound the size of a small cow and scores of bright blue butterflies pinned up in neat organised rows. Anyway I decided on this one, I thought it really strange that The Amalgamated Society Of Tailors advertised their wares using two very well known, under dressed characters. Maybe they mean that a couple of tailored suits would be more practical than the gathering and sewing of fig leaves to make loin coverings. It would certainly be warmer.
