What a View!

At the end of winter Claire moved to her new house on the banks of the Umeå river.  She has cleared huge amounts of brush from her "garden" so she now has a fine view of the river. We helped in that project by spending the day wielding an electric chainsaw and dragging the felled trees and bushes onto large heaps that will be burnt when the rain returns and it is once again safe to light fires.
The house and grounds had been very neglected for ten years so Claire has a lot of work to do but already there is a very positive feeling about the place. Maybe the house realises better times have arrived!
