Hanover Garden Club picnic

We held our annual June picnic today at a member's lovely backyard. The weather was warm with a nice breeze, just perfect. Lisa's lovely roses were the simple centerpieces as we ate the lunches we had brought. Strawberry shortcakes with whipped cream were the perfect seasonal desserts provided by the June refreshment committee. After our lunch we had an auction of items we had donated, mostly garden related objects. I brought my photo greeting cards as usual.

For the Record,
This day came in sunny and hot with a nice breeze.

All hands worried about the separated children now being dispersed all over the country. They must be reunited with their parents. I just read this on the New York Times...

"Federal Health officials have just asked the Pentagon to prepare to house as many as 20,000 unaccompanied migrant children on military bases"...WHAT!
