Dumb Casual

The standard office dress code was “smart casual” which translated as polo shirts and chinos but, yesterday, my line manager gave me a bit of advice. He pointed out that the managers all wore suits and ties. “Dress for the job you WANT, not the job you HAVE.”

Today, I’m wearing a T-shirt, shorts and flip-flops.
