Blooming Good Result

After choir practise had a trip to Cliffe Castle - a kind gardener specially opened up the conservatory so I could snap these plants

They’re a new breed of carnivorous plant - Sarracenia - commonly know as pitcher plants - developed by M - brother of fellow Bus Pass Walker D - recently displayed at Chelsea Flower Show

Takes 20yrs before a plant can be registered as a new variety - if the breeder is successful they’re given the right to name the plant - M has named one of them after his wife - and also received a Royal Horticultural Society Garden Merit Award

Well done M - a blooming good result
