Having spent Tues either at the dentist or tidying up before friends came to collect excess furniture, yesterday meandering around the National Portrait Gallery looking at the BP Portrait Award and Leading Lights exhibitions, I decided today was to be out in the sunshine. So I popped over to Culross. Previous visits have been with pals who only totter a short way along the coastal path in the direction of Longannet. Today I went on a totter of discovery the other way and ended up on a path to Preston Island (according to the signpost).

Although the sun shone, the wind was a bit fierce as can be seen by the ruffled feathers on this curlew. Probably OK large.
