Bee times

The heat wave goes on, 29 again this afternoon.
A quick look in the bee hives and they were heaving with honey! We spent quite a while cleaning some extra frames as the lime trees are just about to flower, and that could mean a serious amount of honey coming in.
Pepper and I had a walk in the park and found several new clumps of Scottish thistle in flower. Bees love these so they must have plenty of nectar. This one is a Garden Bumblebee.
