Had thought of exploring a new walk around Sanquhar today, but it’s just too hot. Kylie was struggling just walking around the village, so a four mile walk didn’t seem like a good idea - I don’t fancy dealing with a greyhound with heatstroke.

So I decanted the wood delivery into the shed, did a bit of work and went to the pub before doing some prawn fried rice and the Denmark / Croatia match. Fair play to Russia, too. This World Cup is certainly throwing up surprises.
