Happy Chappy

Leo was very happy about School Sports Day. He came first in his sprint race, and his house team, Ash, came first overall. So he and his fellow House Captain, Olivia, got to run around the pitch at the end, holding the trophy aloft between them as everyone cheered.

I am impressed that any of them could summon up the energy to dash around in the heat. After our brief rain respite, it seems to be hotter than ever.

I am not looking forward to tomorrow as I am having a wisdom tooth out. At least it is first thing in the morning so it’ll get it over and done with.
