It's Coming Home!

2-0 to England in the Quarter Final. Come on!!!!!!!
I took lots of photos of the team celebrating at the end; the crowds reacting the goals and throwing beer everywhere; and Gareth Southgate roaring with joy, conducting the crowd and congratulating his players. But I love this one of Gary Lineker gazing at the World Cup before announcing that "It's coming home!!!!!!"
I think it is!!
Miss L had a fab time at her sleepover last night. She's a bit tired though!
Which may explain why she fell out of the car earlier when she went to get something out. Miss E heard her screaming and rushed to get us. I could see blood in her mouth and feared for her teeth - hardly able to watch as she rinsed her mouth out with water and spat it out into the sink in case teeth came out - but thankfully she'd just grazed her cheek, bitten her lip and cut her knee a bit. It could have been so much worse!
She looked like she'd been punched in the face her lips swelled up so much.  An ice lolly out of the freezer was called for.
Thankfully this was before the football started or she'd have been on her own!!
As usual Miss E disappeared wailing at the sight of blood but huge credit to her she appeared again very quickly asking Miss L if she wanted Monkey to cuddle (yes!!) and could she have a hug (yes!). She was reassuring Miss L that it was just a shock and she'd soon be feeling better. Bless her!

The other momentous event today - part from England reaching the semi final for the first time since Italia '90 - is that I'm writing this Blip on the actual day. I can't remember the last time that happened!! Whoop whoop!!!
