Another Fine Mess

My favourite twitter comment of the day - classic line from a impressively perky Brexit-focused civil servant: "we have at least now reached the kinetic phase of the car crash"
This was after May’s triumphal meeting at Chequers where she got the cabinet into line, quickly followed by David Davis’s resignation, but before Johnson’s similar act. They’re no happy, thaim brexiteers, cos actually they think we’re not really leaving at all. Cameron’s wheeze of unifying his warring party with a referendum has had the wonderful effect of dragging the whole country into the morass. Morass, get me.
But there were other more pressing matters; the garden steps, though pleasing in some respects, have a few treads which are just too large. Surely it can’t be too difficult to take a mash hammer and stone chisel to?
