Ripening Fields

Over the last few days the barley field has begun to turn a greeny gold. A heavy shower of rain yesterday afternoon perked everything up a little. The grass is still very brown and some trees are looking a bit thirsty. Today was another very warm day with a light wind which made it bearable.
The view is looking north to North Berwick Law.
I've added an extra of an ear of barley.
