Aberdeen Bay Wind Farm

One of the benefits of working during the holidays is its quiet - less patient demand and email traffic & lots of cancelled meetings. The good weather helps as well.
Today I had an unheard of free hour at lunchtime and had a wee walk at the beach.
Just off the coast is a new wind farm - which I understand will supply 70% of Aberdeen’s energy once it is fully operational. This particular development is famous as President Trump tried to block it - on the grounds that it spoils the view from his Mennie Golf Course ( which it does ).
The blip does not do the justice to the size if the turbines - they are massive and situated 3k from the shore.
