Cathleen has decided to start her bee hives up again  so this morning we went to Helensburgh to collect two nuclei .  Then, when back here,  the boxes had to be opened up to allow the bees to asses their new surroundings.

After an hour and a half in the car, there was a bit of "buzz(ing) out w'angry fyke".   But surprisingly not for very long for within a few minutes they had started to forage in their new surroundings. 

(PS ; I  forgot the 222nd anniversary of Burns' death, which fell on Saturday.  So glad to get a couple of lines in today ! )
