Thursday 5 February 2009: Run aground
This is the Dry Dock pub in Leeds, a bit of a misnomer as it is neither dry nor a dock :-). The pub is very near both universities and is one that I keep meaning to try whenever I find myself visiting. However, I was doing a quick search to try and find something out about the pub (I think its an old dutch barge) and I found a review that said it was "a great alternative pub", ideal thought I, until I read on and in the same sentence the reviewer said "it was the Britney Spears of the pub world".
Think I'll stick to the Scarborough Arms! :-)
