Photographic Poeticisms

Sunshine and a Shower

Bright flower
Sunshine on a rainy day
The golden glow
Of the warm sun's ray

Standing proud
In the damp Autumn air
Rain falls
But it hasn't a care

Shrugging off water
Like off the duck's back
To petal's edge
It finds its own track

Through Summer's sun
I did stand its own
Centre of border
Surrounded but still alone

Aloof in demeanor
Haughty in its stance
Each that passes it
Does more than glance

Bright flower
You have served me well
How much longer
No-one can tell
