Heatwave Break

The hottest day of the year. Walk up Haystacks? Why do I do it? Sticky, sweaty and damn hard work. But just look at the views you get.

We camped at Stonethwaite in Borrowdale - to my surprise it wasn’t too busy, we found a spot under a tree. Not a great idea in a thunderstorm but hey ho, we like living on the edge!
