Coming To A Part of Town Near You

The count down has begun and our part of the city is slowly being turned into a giant theme park under the auspices of the Fringe.
This tent is intended for the circus, I think, but I am happy to stand corrected.

It would be wonderful to think that some of the revenue collected by Edinburgh City Council for staging the event could be earmarked to fix the potholes and general disintegration of the road surfaces.

Cycling a road bike with narrow tyres on the highways and byways of the town at the moment feels like riding a bicycle with solid wheels, every bump and irregularity is transmitted throughout my body with a vengeance. Perhaps a mountain bike with full suspension would be a better bet.
