Rush hour

Downtown Santa Marina, Salina.

This morning, we took the bus (I like a bit of Italian public transport) to the nearby town of Lingua for a wee wander and a look at the Roman salt pans from which this island takes its name.

Once the kids got over this excitement, we returned to Santa Marina for a slap up lunch and now an afternoon by the pool beckons.

There will be more sea swimming later once it cools down a bit...
