Carolus Rex

We were in Aachen today and inside the cathedral. We hardly go into the cathedral, but because it is beautiful, it is worth a visit once in a while. 

At the end of the afternoon, I was ready packing my panniers and went to the shed to inspect my bike. Put some oil on the chain and inflate the tires. I wasn't expecting a puncture! Bert couldn't be asked to help out, because I want to do all maintenance myself, but repairing a flat tire is not my favorite. Because the leak was at the valve, I had to replace the inner tube. My bad luck. In retrospect, I am happy that it happened today and not tomorrow when I will be on my way.
