When Fergus was Underwater

16.5C with cloud and sunny spells. Mostly bright. Light WSW/W/WNW breeze.

After lunch Fergus and I went for a walk out to the old shipyard and wandered out the shore path to Slaty Farlan. There was some sort of try watersports thing going on at the little beach at Dalintober when we passed. I walked on by and tried to ignore the loudhailer which was probably audible across the loch!

When we got to Slaty Farlan the tide was out a fair way. I took Fergus down the slipway or ramp or whatever it is out there and took of his lead, collar, and Halti not really expecting him to go in the water. He did. He went straight down what was left of the ramp until he discovered that it came to and end suddenly. He disappeared underwater for a second and came up swimming. When he came out of the water of course he was saturated, so there was much enthusiastic shaking. I took refuge further up the ramp.
