Not a moustache

Last year during the month of Movember I grew a full set which is against the Movember rules which say that you should only grow a moustache. This year I have broken the rules again but this time I have gone for a goatee.

Today is the 90th anniversary of the first BBC radio broadcast. To commemorate this Damon Albarn has composed a piece which will be simultaneously broadcast by all BBC radio stations this evening at 17.33. The first time that this has happened since 1922.

Poor old Auntie has taken a bit of a beating in recent weeks but still is a wonderful institution which we should cherish. Yes we can be critical and demand change but we should still look after it. Even in news broadcasts the BBC reporters and journalists are asking hard questions of their own organisation and it's managers. In how many other media organisations would that happen?
