Bad boy - clotted cream

One advantage of driving to Devon and back in a day to see my Ma is being able to pick up clotted cream.

Unfortunately, the Young Hayes farm I remember from my childhood that used to sell it straight from the dairy in the farmyard has long since stopped doing so.

There used to be a dairy outlet in Honiton high street but they have stopped selling it. The publican at The Vine (who does cream teas) says that even they can only get it from the supermarket now.

Well at least one can still get it from the supermarket. Now what to put it on? Scone? Bottled raspberries? Mince pie? A spoon?

Damn, I must not do these shots on fast days..
