Goosander

Well, what a job to choose today's blip. I went back to the lake at Exhibition Park, hoping (against all the laws of probability) that the heron would be there again. Of course, it wasn't, but I got some lovely shots.

I have finally settled on this rather dramatic shot of a goosander just about to take off. I love the colours in the water, which I haven't altered at all. Amazing greens refelecting in yet more autumn sun.
