Canine Blip

Messing with garlic and supervising the construction of a door frame occupied most of a rather chilly and overcast day. I can say that I would much rather work outside on a day like this than when it's hot.

The whole house smells rather strongly of turpentine and other solvents from giving the undersides of the new floorboards a thin coating of oily wood treatment. The top sides are next and this layer will allow the boards to lose moisture slowly and evenly from both sides. The boards then warp less. The boards are already grooved on both sides, the 'tongue' is a separate piece. The new space is now sealed off from the elephants since the work has significantly reversed forwards. The invisible plumber is welcome to reappear.

The house is now starting to smell like a Chinese restaurant next door to a D.I.Y. shop, since I am cooking some pork legs with aniseed and garlic for tomorrow. I wonder if the plumber will come when it is ready.

So my today's blip is Pushkin with his Nylabone(courtesy of H.C.), which is all he's getting.

Pushkin would like to wish Grey Eminence E.G. the best of luck with her project and of course greetings to K. and Dodzia too!
