Life's A Beach

After a late'ish breakfast we'd intended to catch the train from St Erth rather than face the usual summertime parking challenge in St Ives. However, the station car park is undergoing an extension and there were none of the restricted spaces left so we diverted to Lelant Saltings where the overflow car park was in operation, thankfully.

The train was absolutely rammed which confirmed our expectations of a very busy resort. Still, we had a really nice stroll around the town and beaches and, apart from Kieran getting his ice cream nicked by one of those pesky anti-tourist seagulls(!), lunch was good and the weather fine while we there. An extra too.

Meeting up with friends for a beverage or two this evening :)
