There's Drama In Them Thar Skies!

BIG DRAMA.

Today's been very dismal and cold, the clouds only starting to break up this afternoon. Later I realised I needed to drive into the next village to get to a shop. On the way back I noticed the heavy black clouds and the sun doing battle for supremacy, so just had to stop for some shots of the drama (needless to say I'd taken my camera out with me as usual, and it's at times like this I'm glad I do). I liked this shot best as the sun is actually visible through the clouds which veil it (seen clearly if you go large), and I loved the variation in cloud type, and the rays beaming down towards the ground.
