Cats have no conscience and no shame.

Mouse is enjoying sleeping the morning away beside the Rayburn stove, she feels safe and confident that no harm will come to her.

It was a different story at 4.00am when she decided that it was a). Time to wake up, play, have breakfast pop out for a few minutes, b). play bounce on daddy, a traditional family game enjoyed in the past by both our offspring, usually with those early morning sloshy nappies, and c). play hunt and kill the toe (mine!).

Her confidence might have been misplaced. I have still not been back to sleep!
