Niagara Produce stands

We purchased a lot of the fruit & veggies at the stand yesterday (not shown, 15 lbs of new and red small potatoes). We have made massive potato salad, Greek salad, coleslaw and peach crisp. Tomorrow many of the remaining items will go in to dinner - big curry dish and potato/leek soup. The remaining ripe peaches will be peeled, sliced and frozen. With our super hot and very busy summer I have not spent much time in the kitchen (usually opting for quick BBQs & salads). It has been nice to get back in the cooking groove. We started the day with my sweetie heading west to the Hamilton Leander Boat Club for a hard row, and I cycled to the gym to teach spin and Barre, subbing for 2 instructors who were away. 40 degree weather kept us home and low key for the afternoon.
