Eltz castle

Eltz Castle is one of the most important castles in Germany, located in the town of Wierschem. It is since 1157 the residence of the Counts of Eltz. It was built for 500 years, creating both Medieval and Renaissance style buildings. 
There are eight residential towers around his imposing castle square. Inside, the noble living culture can be seen through the centuries. Art treasures of gold and silver, ivory and porcelain as well as historical weapons are kept in the treasury.
