Helter skelter.....

.....feisty time at the lakes today.

Amongst the bubbles is an Australian Coot who was chasing the one taking off, meanwhile the mallard seems be oblivious to the goings on.........and I was happily blipping away not realizing my settings were still set for yesterday's garden shots, hmmm I have many blurred shots!

Nevermind I quite like the comical look of the coot escaping! Looks like he's got a good lead but it's surprising how quickly they can move once they're free of the water.

Wednesday.....beautiful spring day, 17C, a slight breeze, not a cloud in the sky. Mum and I visited R, he's not good, so sad......
