Quarry

Strange word "quarry" meaning both something you're chasing after, and a big hole in the ground you dig things out of.  

Am I seeking a big hole?   Maybe - depends how I'm feeling.

These are woods north of Matlock; mostly oak (thankfully), and now largely covering the area that was formerly a gritstone quarry.

Accidentally came across an art exhibition at the home of the artist Pollyanna Pickering, a name, I'm afraid, I was utterly unaware of.  

However, her house was open as a gallery as it is only twice a year, and jam packed with many excellent paintings of animal and birds, both British and from abroad.  Most had SOLD tags on.  Fascinating garden too, with some very well placed mirrors to extend the garden into the next field, seamlessly.
