99 birthday balloons

Today was Sausage's 2nd birthday party. It was great fun with a bouncy castle, a ball pit and Pruddy's homemake Iggle Piggle cake. I had the responsible task of setting up and decorating. A task I eagerly took on once I knew helium was involved. I couldn't resist an inhalation and a high pitched performance of Twinkle twinkle little star.

This is my balloon art to welcome folk to the village hall. It is the sky in the background which made a beautiful contrast. It was refreshing to have a weekend in the country away and a magical moment when I realised I was away from the light pollution of the big city.
