Livingstone and the Lion

Dr. Livingstone I presume!

The Mono Monday theme is escape and I though this worked in particuarly well.  Its the famous encounter and escape from a lion by David Livingstone the missionary, explorer, and abolitionist.

Its on display at the Livingstone centre in Blantyre but at the moment this is the only part you can get access to as there are refurbishment works going on just now.  Bit of a pain as there is another sculpture I need to photograph but will have to go back.
