Bize-Minervois

Bize-Minervois is a small town about three miles from Mailhac. We went there late morning intending to swim in the specially constructed swim hole in the River Cesse. It all felt a bit too chilly and maybe not quite deep enough though. So I have blipped the river anyway with reflections and some autumnal leaves on the surface. Wandered around the narrow, winding streets of this lovely place and bought a few pleasing bits at the market - wooden spoon, wooden pastry crimper and so on. Then found the Cafe du Midi for lunch (extra) which was fantastic value at €12.50 and thoughtfully made gluten free for me.

Back to the house and I must swim so before the sun is off the pool I'm going to take the plunge.
