Caught napping!

I had my allergy blood test results back today and it confirmed the hazel nut allergy, so I have now been advised not to eat nuts and carry EpiPens!

At lunchtime I caught this heron, maybe a juvenile, preening in the sunshine and I was surprised too!  I was about 5m away when I saw him and he took a while to spot me and then he was off!
