Brass

As l took yesterday's photo l noticed behind the steps this row of very shiny, brass letter boxes. Glad l don't have to clean and polish them. Ours are a very ordinary, gun metal grey with teeth that will shred your hand if you try to dip into the letter box and take mail out (as a defence against naughty people who try to steal your mail) without having a key to open the box.
