Lights out

Driving in to work this morning in the dark, my headlights blew. Great start! Luckily the sun was coming up and I managed to get through the back roads using full beams as I didn't meet many cars.

Left work early before dusk so I could get them fixed. In and out of Halfords in under 10 minutes all sorted thanks to an extremely quick mechanic who had to move half the engine to get to the fittings. Thankfully she knew exactly what she was doing.

There's often a female mechanic in Halfords nowadays. It shouldn't even be a surprise. Hopefully it won't ever be for the next generation.
