At How Caple: Rain ruined field x

How Caple is the most beautiful place. The road which runs by the river to Foy is out of an old british landscape art or photography book. Its fields always have old fashioned breeds scattered about too. Its as if they are preserving a tiny patch of Britain, unspoilt.

Alas, another sad sight had changed the landscape. The river bursting onto this freshly drilled field. The farmer must be wondering why and how to continue. The rain robbed this summers harvest. The brave carried on, ploughing in horrendous conditions and drilled winter crops into sodden fields. The winter crop sodden and water drenched. What will become of the spring harvest? x
